The result from 2021 Census shows that real estate agent still dominates the rental market in terms of landlord type, counting 63.1% in total landlord type of rented dwelling. This is an increase from 59.9% at 2016. The Unincoporated ACT had the most amount Employers - Government landlords in the 2021 census with 1,565 landlords in the region being this type whereas Gold Coast had the most amount of owner/manager of a residential park landlords in Australia with 4,416 landlords being this type.
