The Building Approvals (BAPS) collection collects data relating to residential and non-residential building work above certain value limits that have been approved. The dataset highlights the general level of residential development, economic activity, employment and investment in a region.
Data from this collection is reported as the volume and value of approvals for all properties, houses, units, semi-detached dwellings, conversions, alterations and alterations, new, private and public building approvals. Data is released monthly and is reported for the reference period from July 2011 to September 2021.
